Whats up sportsfans, drewscards here with another break, but 1st, my great new end of the quarter break will be held most likely a week after the 1st quarter of the school year ends. I will have the dmd fantasy football league helping out, as Joemama (my dad), and my buddy Mike have this great break with me. I will have 6 hits (most likely, unless a bad or hot box appears), and I've got new and old school coming. I'm getting 2 boxes for the break, 1 being baseball, and 1 football. For baseball, I pushed out the Ginter box because of the price, to add a football box to the break. So I'm getting a UD A Piece of History box and a 2007 Bowman Jumbo Football. I saw Chris from youtube (chris5784) bust a box of this, and I was impressed, because it's cheap, and you get 1 rookie relic and an autograph. Also, you get 165 rookie cards, so I'll probably at least get 1 Adrian Peterson rookie, and some other good rookies are in it as well. So, I guess I'll give it a try.
Anyway, today I opened box of Upper Deck Stars and Stripes Edition. But I had to save 4 packs for the 2 boys at my sister's family birthday party this weekend as party favors. You get 1 memorabilia card per box, and in this edition, it's a player on the USA National Baseball Team. So, being careful, and also wanting to get that card, I took the most thick packs. Here's What I got, in order of the 6 Packs I opened.
Pack 1: Evan Meek RC, Season Highlights of Torrii Hunter
Pack 2: USA Hit: Tyler Wilson Black GU Jersey, Troy Tulowitski Star Attractions Insert
Pack 3: David Wright Season Highlights, Nyjer Morgan RC, LJ Hoes USA Baseball Insert
Pack 4: Josh Beckett Season Highlights, Troy Glaus Checklist
Pack 5: Steve Holm RC, A-Rod Season Highlights
Pack 6: Grady Sizemore Season Highlights, Derek Jeter Checklist, Yogi Berra Stadium Legacy.
See Ya!

I bought a bunch of thick packs, and here is the packs I bought: ![]() Sup everybody, drewscards had 4 maildays in the past couple of weeks. Here they are:
Sup Guys! I went to my local card shop and picked up some cards! I got a Tony Dorsett Turn back the Clock card, 2 Packs of Topps Football: (some notable names) Ronnie Brown, Derek Anderson, Adrian Peterson, Brandon Marshall, Maurice Jones-Drew, Braylon Edwards, Tom Brady MVP, Devin Hester Own the Game, Randy McMichael Gold Card, and a Brett Favre Flight to 420 #437 card. In Topps Baseball Series 2, I got Lance Berkman, Dioner Navarro, a Topps Stars Brandon Webb, and really nothing great after that. I got a Playoff Prestige pack that included Larry Johnson, David Garrard, Jeff Garcia, Laveranues Coles, Marshawn Lynch, Martellus Bennett RC, Reggie Bush, and Edgerrin James. See Ya!
![]() Hey everybody! This actually was a great box my grandma gave gave me on vacation in Lake Minerva, in Adirondacks NY, where we enjoy the beautiful mountain air every Labor Day weekend, and we enjoy time with my dad's family. So, in this box, there was one hit, 1 gold serial #'ed card (which I didn't notice in my video), 1 political cartoon card, a starquest card in every pack, and 1 Super Rare Starquest. I got a Francisco Liriano jersey card (no #), a Tony Gwynn Jr. Gold (Serial # 82-99). I got a Hilary vs. McCain Cubs-White Sox Rivalry Cartoon Card, a bunch of common starquests but a CC Sabathia rare, a Vladimir Guerrero and Ichiro un-common, and a Carlos Beltran Super Rare card. So overall, a very good box, although I could've gotten better of a jersey card. Today, my Pop Pop gave me about 10 vintage cards. The best 3 today were a Buddy Bell 1979 base card, a Jim "Catfish" Hunter base card (1979 as well), and a triple rookie/prospect card with Dale Berra on it. Dale is actually Yogi's son so it's pretty cool. Alright, See Ya! Sup guys! Today I got some Upper deck stuff at my local K-Mart, this superstar box with 75 series 1 Upper Deck cards and 3 superstar cards out of a ten card collection you could get. I also got an Upper Deck series 2 fat pack. Check out my video for the recap. See Ya!!! Well, I've been a collector for 4 years now and I own thousands of cards, especially baseball cards. My oldest card is a 1954 Sammy Calderone card, and I own 1956 Yankees and Senators team cards. I am a die hard Yankee fan, and I've been to 7 games at the hallowed Yankee Stadium. The final game I went to was against the Orioles on July 30th 2008, as the Yankees rolled all over the Orioles for an amazing Yankee Stadium final victory, 13-3. Enough about me, and more about my cards. My oldest football card is a Packers team card from 1956 as well. My Pop Pop gives me tons of great vintage cards for good grades in school in return. My 1st cards were 1990 Pacific Football cards, the cards I had but never really looked at until later. My oldest rookie card I think is Larry Bowa from 1971, I don't recall though. I just learned about box breaks and pack searching, so I'm going to get more. I have a good amount of 1960s cards, lots of 1970s, and a ton of 1980s cards, including a ton of 1980 Topps cards. 1992 Topps I also specialize in. I definitely have lots of 2000 cards, especially 2004 and 2005 complete sets. My 1st autographed card is a Yankees prospect dude I really don't know and never got big. His name is Brian Rogers. My 1st jersey card is a Deuce McCallister Saints white jersey card. Anyway, I am sure I could make thousands off my card collection, but wouldn't sell it for the world. I will go to a Jets game on September 28th this year against the Cardinals. See Ya!!!ts from the top bar. |
